Investing in pain-relief

As a physical therapist for the last 30 years, I’ve been investing in your pain-relief. Through countless hours of self-study, residency training, more than 2000 hours of continuing education, and the 10,000 or so patients who’ve come before you, I’ve been preparing for your visit.

As we seek to make a difference on your issues, I’ll concentrate our efforts in three distinct areas:

  1. Pain relief: I will first employ techniques, exercises, and education to ease your pain. Most people feel some pain-relief in the first or second session.
  2. Teach you to ease your own pain: This is where you really start making progress. We’ll spend time making sure you can be your own therapist by finding strategies and techniques to ease or abolish your own pain.
  3. Teach you how to keep the problem from returning: We will work together to develop an exercise program that improves your strength and flexibility so that you can get back to doing the activities you enjoy.
